A Good Vintage
Friday, May 5 – Sunday, May 7, 2017
Join us for a low-key weekend getaway to Dayton, Oregon May 5-7, 2017!
We will be spending the weekend at The Vintages, a very retro cool resort in Oregon wine country comprised of lovingly restored vintage travel trailers.
The weekend includes two nights double occupancy in a vintage trailer (they are all a little different, so accommodations will vary slightly), a cookout dinner on Friday night, breakfast on Saturday, catered dinner on Saturday night and breakfast on Sunday morning. Transportation is on your own, so you can arrive any time after 4pm on Friday, get settled in and then enjoy your cookout dinner (with s’mores of course!).
Saturday is on your own, we will be hanging in the Community Room if you want to join us for movies and knitting, or you can venture out to the Oregon Knitting Company in McMinnville, or go wine tasting at one of the numerous excellent wineries in the area. Or do all three if you feel ambitious! Saturday we will all meet again for a lovely catered dinner.
Sunday morning, another great breakfast and then we will depart (via our own transportation once more) late morning to head home.
Cost for this weekend is $385/per person for two nights double occupancy in a vintage trailer, two breakfasts and two dinners. Transportation is on your own. Please remember that as cute and well-equipped as the trailers are, this is still technically camping so be prepared to “rough it” a little.
Prefer to bunk alone? To have a trailer to yourself add $175.
This trip includes two breakfasts, two dinners, and a double occupancy trailer. (If you don’t have a roommate we are happy to set you up with one, or you can upgrade to a single room.) Roommate requests will be honored as much as is possible, please just add those to the notes section at checkout. Cost is $385/person for double occupancy, $175 additional for private trailer.
If you have a special dietary requirement, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate you. We are also happy to accommodate physical restrictions; this is actually a great way to travel for someone that uses a walker or cane, as you get door to door drop offs with minimal walking required. If you have these or other special requirements, please do let us know by selecting the appropriate item from the drop down menu when you register. We’ll then contact you directly to discuss details.
Please read our Helpful Hints & Rules page before booking your trip! Remember – your trip is non-refundable.
