Join The Traveling Ewe™ on the bus to the Columbia Fiber Festival in The Dalles on Saturday, November 7th, 2015!

The Columbia Gorge Fiber Festival (CGFF) is the Gorge’s premier fiber event, and is held every year in the Columbia River Gorge. They are known for their terrific classes, events, and great vendor marketplace with lots of our local favorites. This year the CGFF has moved from its usual April dates to November 6-8. The festival has also moved to The Dalles and the Ft. Dalles Readiness Center, which will provide lots of classrooms and a 10,000 sq ft marketplace for all the great vendors!

We will hop on our luxury coach and depart Portland at 9am so that we will arrive in The Dalles by 11am. This will give you plenty of time to shop in the marketplace, and/or take an afternoon class with one of the outstanding instructors this year. (Note that classes are not included here and need to be purchased separately from the CGFF’s website.)

In the evening, we will regroup and at 6:15pm the coach will pick up those of us attending the Banquet and deliver us to the Columbia Gorge Discovery Center & Museum. There we can enjoy the reception, seated dinner, and keynote banquet with hostess Stephanie Pearl McPhee. This portion of the trip is optional – banquet tickets are your responsibility to purchase separately from the CGFF’s website for $55 or at the door for $60. If you choose not to attend the banquet, there are lots of lovely restaurants in The Dalles for you to dine and hang out at instead.

The coach will pick us back up after the banquet, then pick up anyone in The Dalles who chose not to attend the banquet, and then we will head back to Portland, arriving back about midnight.

Cost for this trip will be $65 and includes roundtrip luxury transportation with a professional driver and coffee and pastries in the morning. Please note that optional items you choose to purchase like your banquet ticket, any classes you want to attend, meals, and parking fees (if you choose to pay for parking) are not included in that price.

Please read our Helpful Hints & Rules page before booking your trip! Remember – your trip is non-refundable.
